CCM U+12's or Bauer Vapor X7.0

I'm looking at getting CCM U+12's and installing tuuks with Step Steel

OR

Bauer Vapor X7.0's

I take a 8.5E in CCM will the Bauer fit similar in a 8.5E?

I'm coming from Pro-Stock CCM U+Pro's with CCM oversized felt tongues (identical to Iginlas setup 2 years ago).

There is no real reason to slap tuuks on the U+. When CCM put the pro lite on skates, they broke way too easily, especially for bigger guys. The epro is actually pretty solid.

The CCM and Vapor skate will not fit anything a like.

When i was picking a new skate each one offered something the other didn't or did it with a different method, pick what feels right.

I just had EPros put on my Pro Tacks, which came stock with Pro-Lites (which cracked, of course). Seconding that the EPro is a pretty good holder. If I were doing it again, I would probably put Tuuks on, but I don't really see a reason to switch out new EPros for Tuuks.

CCM size 6 U+ CL comes with 263 holder. I skate in Tuuk LS 254 on size 6 Bauer. Sometimes you have to switch holders. I did when trying the U+ CL.
