Quickly breaking in new gloves?

While I have never parked a car on a pair of gloves and don't endorse doing so, I would do that before dumping water into gloves.

This water idea...I had a kid over on HFBoards a few months ago endorse wearing new skates in the shower to break them in... LOL

We had a old canadian (not actually that old, but we still called him "the vet" because he was older then the rest of us) play with us who said he used to take his skates and dunk them in water to help break them in. Now, we're talking hockey during the 80's timeframe when he did this, but it still made me laugh. He doesn't do this now.

That was popular in the 70's as well. I never understood why someone would since the skates were pretty much all leather. Broken in after a skate or two and broken down in 6 months.
