Rbk ccm vs Bauer

Recommended Posts

Right so im confused seems to be the general knowledge is that people seem to beable to go down half a size in the rbk/ccm skates vs the bauers but on all the sizing charts it says that the bauers run like a cm bigger ??

E.G

Size 9.5 ccm/rbk= 28.1 cm

size 9.5 bauer= 29cm

im confused can someone help me??

thanks guys

based on my own expirience, skates of all three manufacturers I've had (X50's, CL U+, 11K) are in the same size(shoe 9, skate 7.5) , but that's my case , yours can be different .

I wouldn't pay too much attention to charts placed in the Internet , there is a lot of mismatching, I went through that . The first words anyone will tell you here -"go LHS and try on " and I second that .

There's a lot more to it than just the length. I just went from an 8.5E CCM Vector 10.0 to a 9EE Bauer Flexlite 4.0 pro. Even though the lengths feel pretty close, there is a huge amount of difference in the interior volume of the skate. I'd agree that your best bet is to try on the skates/models that you're considering.

Everyone's feet are different and every skate is different. You can't just go by general sizing conversions. Those are more like guidelines to point you in the right direction.

if i remember right, people had to size their vapor apx's down half a size from their x60s because of the new toe cap. and that's within the same line of skates.

i concur with the concensus, you must try on the skate to really get a good sense of sizing.
