Updated Easton RS Stick

Recommended Posts

Aesthetically, it actually looks better. More streamlined and simplified. Out of curiosity, what is the difference between Easton's kevlar shaft and woven kevlar wrap?

I hope it isn't thicker. I like the shaft dimensions of the RS a lot.

Given that the "pro inspired shaft dimensions" or whatever terminology they use has been one of the selling points of the stick, I doubt they'd change it.

I'd love for a 60 flex intermediate version as I have to cut my sticks down by ~3-4" and that make's it too stiff for me.

Any reason why the stealth line never receives a 60 flex option while the synergy/eq/mako line does?

Yup. The dealer info says the "Stealth II" on it, but the sticks were all marked with the current names, RS, 75s, etc.

I think its smart to keep the name. Like you said, it doesnt imply something wrong with the old and makes things easier. I wish that all companies just kept the names year to year. After all, a Toyota Camry is a Camry year to year, just with new models. Why cant sticks and skates be the same?

In some respects they are the same. Camry is the same but may be a LE, SE, SLE, etc versions. Bauer has Supreme and Vapor model lines and then versions within the line. The version designations are what change, albeit more frequently in this industry.

I know, but when I hear the words "Kevlar Wrap" I think of the ST, which is incredibly thick.
