This is my first post here on the board but i have been reading for some time. I had custom Eagle gloves made this last spring and they have goat skin palms, I was wondering if there is some way to keep them as when i got them, and not get crusty would some leather condition work on this or what do you advise i do. By the Way incredible looking glove and awesome fit and feel.

Yes. Take them out of your bag and air them out. :D

Exactly - goatskin is not supposed to crust up.

i guess i really dont think i said that right, its not really crust it just feels more rough than when i first got them.

What kind of tape do you use on your top hand?

just normal white cloth tape

Well, one of the things that chews gloves up is the "grip" tape that guys use on the handle, or, they candy cane tape the shafts to get grip.

I would just say to take them out of your bag and let them air dry. Don't put them out in the sun or dry them with heat, as this will make the palms crusty.

No there is a warrenty though, but it does not get repalming again and again for life.

Mine came with a warrenty card but there wasn't an expiration date on them, how long are the warrenties valid for?

How would i go and order custom eagle gloves? Can i just order 3 pairs instead of like 20?

Goto your LHS and try to do it through them. I believe you can do individual pairs of gloves.

yeah they can... but the order is quite expensive... its easier if you know someone that works in the shop... cause if you are just a public customer that goes in and asks.. the store will harsh try to make a profit (my expierences)

yeah, i just ordered one pair, it was a little more expensive but it wasnt bad, although i think Eagle only makes custom gloves once a year but i could be wrong.

I believe for truely custom gloves, there is a 12 pr min.

The minimum order is 1. I custom fedorov pro gloves(instead of Anaheim color, it's Detroit). They are nice but I didnt like the fit of them. It's great because my brother like them so he uses them. :D

They dont go with any thing eagle. But i could probably go to (NHL)New Hockey Limited in N.Y.
