And so you know those werent his skates or his size someone had gotten him a pair as close as possible to the old ones! I am willing to bet he could have played better with his own gear.! Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted November 14, 2012 Kind of both a sad and funny story. Apparently, Pavel and Val haven't been getting along well, so they were communicating through their mother. Val had played in the game a couple of years ago, so he had to tell his mother, "Let him know that, um, it's actually kind of big game...."That information didn't get to Pavel quickly enough, because he didn't bring any equipment. Gouche had to go out and buy him an entire set, but he couldn't find the helmet; he had heard two collectors were selling them at the card show last weekend, but they were no longer there. When I arrived at Kerry's house, he threw me a plastic bag and told me to take off all the tags, and then find a bag to put the equipment into.Regarding Pavel's English, after the game I noticed his dress shirt was soaked from his shower, so I said, "You know we had towels, right?""Can't.
