Question about the Itech Garter/Jock Shorts

On the Itech Garter/Jock Shorts (the ones on this page: http://store.yahoo.com/hockeygiant/ithocjocgars.html ) is the cup just sitting in a pocket in the shorts or is the cup held firmly against you with the two elastic strapts that go under each leg like in a regular jock strap?

I've got the WSI compression jock/garter shorts and the cup is just in a front pocket loose and it does not stay in place at all and when it comes out of place, it's rather painful.

If you get the right size, the fact that it's a compression short should hold it in place. I've only had problems if they stretched out.

The Itech garter/jock shorts that i'm talking about in the link above are the loose fitting shorts, not compression. Do you know how the cup is held in place on those, is it just in a pocket or is it held down by straps that go around your legs? Thanks

Yes, two straps in the shorts. Like a regular jock strap with shorts over it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm willing to bet its exactly like the yellow jock with the velcro, just with the garter belt. So yes, I would think it would have the two straps like a regular jock strap in shorts.

Yeah, the Jock Garter has the two straps... basically a cup-and-supporter sewn to the waistband.

I'm using the Trifilar version of the jock shorts right now. I love it. I got rid of my T3k one - the cup would shift.

Check out the Shock Doctor loose fitting shorts if you want to stay with a loose jock. The cup is cut so that it wraps under a bit to give your boys some protection from underneath. The jock inside the shorts is actually a second pair of shorts with the cup pocket sewn in so the cup actually stays in place all of the time and it won't stretch out over time. I used to use the Itech one religiously and took a look at this one and won't go back. It fit so well compared to the Itech that I have to keep checking to make sure it was there for the first couple of games.
