Difference between vapor x6.0 and 6.0

I'm stuck on which ones to buy, is there any real advantage to the 7.0 or are they very similar?

Also are they comparable in stiffness?

For $50.00 more dollars, get the 7.0s. Great skates so far! STIFF, but responsive...

Are they light? Im coming from total ones which didn't fit my feet very good.

Yes light..about the same as the 6.0s.. don't know about the total ones weight, but I'm sure it's listed in the specs at hockey monkey or other retailers online. If you skate alot, you'll enjoy the durability of the 7.0s too. They were more difficult for me to break in than any other skate I've owned though.

I have a pair of 6.0's which are lighter than the 7.0's. But I believe the 7.0's are stiffer, have more padding so more durable, better liner, tongue, and a lighter outsole. They are definitely worth the difference. However, i think the difference was close to $200 for me at the time I bought mine.

Thanks for the advice, I went with the 7.0 for the upgrades, got them on sale from hclockeymonkey so worked out cheap.

Off the cuff question. Is there a size differance in fit between the APX and the Supreme's? Does a 10D Supreme fit the same size foot ass a 10D APX? Obviously they are different skates but just curious on the sizes and fit length more than anythng. Thanks

Some people have preferred to go up a half size in the Vapors due to the narrower heel. For those people, the narrower heel doesn't allow their foot to sit as far back as the Supreme. So for example, those people could be a true out-of-box 10 in a Supreme but might prefer an out-of-box 10.5 Vapor; ceteris paribus.
