Easton Iginla Vs. Warrior Curves

Recommended Posts

I've been thinking about switching over from my Easton RSII and getting a Warrior Dynasty AX1. Thing is I've used the Iginla curve for a long time now (running on 6 years now) and I was wondering what Warrior curve most resembles an Easton Iginla. Please help, thanks for your time.

Why the switch?

I love the RSII, it's got amazing puck feel and pop, but it's breaking in a couple different spots and is bound to just snap on me any day now. Plus Easton has had problems with the blade for a couple years now with the heel and toe (S19, RS, RSII). I can't keep buying sticks that break every few months. And it's not me either, all of my teammates who have had those three sticks have had the same problem.

What about the Kovalchuk curve? what is that similar to ?

I think the covert dt 1 or dt 3 would be more similar to the stealth than the ax1

I think the kovalchuk is similar to the p88 but with a little bigger curve closer to the toe. It's closed like the p88 with little loft. I may try it some time but its a warrior exclusive pattern.

Base, 20K, DT1, AX1, RSII, Mako 2. There are so many options out there, I don't know what to do with myself. Plus I'm a defenseman but that kinda has little to do with anything. I also like softer flexes than most people too. It seems the Kovalchuk would be most similar to the P14 Toews then.

No, the w14 chara curve on warrior is the p14 clone. It's shorter than the kovalchuk.

I obsessed like u man. Pm me and I'll help you.

Although its gonna be hard to talk about durability since most u mention are new models.

I'm pretty sure in the Dynasty thread the Warrior product manager said the AX1 is the most similar to the stealth line than the Covert.

I went from a long time Iginla user to the Burrows curve, took 3-4 ice times, but I really like it. Especially the added length playing D.

I'm curious. This question is the reason the OP started the thread. Why do you want him to go to PM and defeat the purpose of the board?

A curve can not be closed and have loft, it's simply impossible.

Agreed, posting information publicly helps others and also prevents misinformation (like the previous quote) from being repeated.
