fasterthanU 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2013 PIC 1PIC 2I just bought a brand new pair of Bauer XR3s and my wheels started falling apart (as pictured) the first time I rolled on them. I weigh 165 pounds. What the hell?! I emailed Bauer 4 days ago, no response yet.
Beleafer 14 Report post Posted July 18, 2013 Did you use them outside? That'll happen when you use indoor wheels outside. If not, then nevermind :P.
fasterthanU 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2013 I used them on a roll on surface, very smooth.
dreww 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2013 I used them on a roll on surface, very smooth.A roll on concrete surface? If so it's still a one layer outdoor type of hardened surface.Looks like the xr3's come with a 76a indoor wheel. These wheels are built to rebound and perform on softer surfaces like sport and ice court. Bets of luck either way man. Always is unfortunate when something like that happens with something brand new.
Dorsey24 6 Report post Posted December 3, 2014 I had that same problem... Now in my case I am 225 lbs. Guessing its because they are too soft... also wonder since they are branded wheels they arent of super high quality
beedee 227 Report post Posted December 3, 2014 A guy on my team had two Bauer wheels disintegrate on him in one game two weeks ago. Not sure which model, but we play indoors on sport court.
