Souldriver 64 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 I really like my alkali pants. They're lower end ones are mostly black. My teams are grey and black but look great. Their maxes have white and black but it's mostly white.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted January 24, 2014 Honestly, I always go with mid tier pants. I simply don't see the point in buying top end pants. The cheaper ones are usually lighter anyways because they use less material. I don't fall often, so I really don't care. I have a pair of Bauer XR3 pants that I have used for 2 years now that are in great condition with no holes. $100 for top end pants is ridiculous IMHO. Justin 1933 134 Report post Posted January 24, 2014 Here are two good options for what you are looking for:http://www.hockeymonkey.com/alkali-roller-hockey-pants-lite-sr.html http://www.inlinewarehouse.com/Alkali_RPD_Comp_Roller_Hockey_Pants_Sr_/descpage-ACPS.html The RPD Lite was worn by our pro team at Winternationals. We wanted to show the best players wearing our entry level pant.
guitarfreek92 7 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 my prolbem is the team i play for is required to have all black no lettering no piping nothing unless we do like team name down the side. and the league is strict with dress code as well as gloves and helmet colors
Justin 1933 134 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Where the heck do you play? That is craziness... Here are some all black options:http://www.inlinewarehouse.com/Alkali_CA7_Roller_Hockey_Pants_Sr_/descpage-AC7PS.htmlThe logo is as close to tone on tone as you will find (the image shows the logo, but it is not that light of gray). If you decide on this pant, go up a size verse your normal size.
Souldriver 64 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Loved those ca7 graphics. But I hope a size sm fits you. Also I agree that's insane rules.
sss1987 55 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 really silly qs..but im a 33" waist.. without girdle on...would i go for a large sizing then (assuming the pants sizing refers to the actual waist size of the trousers)
Tyler Roy 86 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 You are going to be hard pressed to find an ALL black pant. Every pant is going to have a logo that will be visible. The Bauers are pretty low key but still have accents that make them stand out. Same idea with those Alklais that Justin posted. Is this aihl or a house league? aihl isn't too strict about pants, our team last year wore ace but mine got destroyed after playing on a wood court( yes I said it) so I wore Alkali for the rest of the season. What are the rest of your guys wearing? They must be in the same situation as you, if that's the case why not just get a team order of something?
Justin 1933 134 Report post Posted January 26, 2014 A 33" waist will be a Large pant in the CA7. They ran a bit slim.
Kyle Friedman 9 Report post Posted January 27, 2014 Look for a pair of black bauer xr premier pants if you can find them anywhere. There were last years pants so they may be harder to find but there were about as close to all black as you will find and there were great pants!
sss1987 55 Report post Posted January 27, 2014 Inline warehouse limited sizes though
Solidus433 1 Report post Posted February 15, 2014 Have to say, those RDP comp pants just got put on my "needed ites" list, and Im not even in the market for pants right now. Love the simplicity to them, and really like that they arent some off the wall color scheme. Well done Alkali.
