Hockey Stick Questions?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to decided between a RBZ, RBZ Stage 2, Easton Mako 2, RS2, and NEXUS 1000. I am looking for a stick that is best for a quick release. Let me know what the best choice would be? My second question is regarding hockey company reps. If my local hockey stores are sold out of certain sticks can the rep sell me a stick? How can I contact my local representatives?

Reps shouldn't be selling sticks directly. It hurts their customers and I've heard tell of reps who did sell out of their trunk who have gotten in trouble with the equipment companies. If you local store is out of a current item then they can probably order it for you, not so much on discontinued.

Quick release as in, you mainly take snappers? Then you'd want a low kick point stick. If the stick you want is not in stock, have it ordered.

Also, I've found hockeymonkey, purehockey, etc have better prices than my mom & pop local store. Ma & pa also have terrible selection, so no offense to them, I don't shop there anymore.

How can I contact my local representatives?

Reps work as a liaison between the manufacturer and the retailer and are generally not available to the general public. If retailers are out of sticks, especially online retailers, there are probably not going to be any available from the warehouse either.

Having tried all of the above, the clear winner in terms of quick release for me would be the RS2 hands down.
