Pro stock Bauer Nexus 7000 skates

I just saw these pro stock Bauer Nexus skates on ebay. Firstly I'm curious as to how the seller has so many pairs of the same pro stock skates in multiple different sizes? Doesn't seem loike they were made for a particular player. Also it seems to me that the skate is very different from the retail Nexus 7000. They have thin toungues and 10 eyelets instead of 9, different liner, double stitching and when looking at the skates from the back they look totally different than the retail 7000's, in fact to me they look like they might actually be an older Vapor skate thats made to look like the Nexus 7000, does anybody have any thoughts on this? They look good, I'm thinking about taking a chance on them, only problem is if they fit more like a Vapor than a Nexus they will be too narrow for me...

It's a vapor cut nexus boot. It's basically an X90/X 7.0/X:60 since it's the techmesh quarter packages. Just made to look like a nexus 7000.

The Retail nexus 7000's are also techmesh quarters, but do you think the skate looks like a vapor skate other than the techmesh quarters? I guess there is no real way of knowing if the skate will fit anything like a retail vapor or nexus.... I'm guessing they will fit more like a vapor though so probably to risky for me to purchase.. cool looking skates though...

does anyone know what toe caps those are?

To me it looks like a 100% vapor skate with a nexus skin.. But I might be wrong :D

It's a Nexus vapor cut, 100% sure about that. Bauer has made these "pro stock" versions available to reps and specialized retailers for a few years now. They're NOT made in Canada, they're made in China. On the box it will say "Pro Spec" not "Pro Stock". Vapor toe cap, too.

I got a pair of Nexus 1000 pro spec off a Bauer rep last year, same deal.

I'm not really sure where any confusion on what they are came from. The listing clearly states they are X:90's with a Nexus skin. I guess actually reading the listing was too much hassle.

Heres the thing... at the time of my original post the listing did not state that they are x:90's with a Nexus skin. I emailed the guy asking him for some information and he contacted Bauer and was told what they were exactly..... he then updated the information in the listing....

those look awesome IMO

love my X90's, but much prefer how the Supreme's or NEXUS look appearance wise ... my foot just doesn't fit in them proper
