Helmet

Currently I have one of the Old CCM helmets that a majority of the NHL guys wear, and it is probably about 10 years old, if not older. I'm going to go out and buy a new helmet, and I have it down to 3. CCM 1052, CCM 852, or the Bauer 4000. Any help you could give me on a what helmet would be most like the fit of the old CCM, and which helmet just is the best overall. I checked the reviews, and they seem pretty good. Thanks for any help you can give.

i had a fairly old CCM, bought a bauer 5000 and couldnt be happier.

I've never worn an 852, but a 1052 fits wide. The 4000 will probably fit closer to your old HT2

Itech HC95 is pretty similar as well.

Itech HC95, buy a new HT2, or the bauer 4000. I have a HT2, tried the 4000 at my LHS and I felt good in it.

I have a brand new condition CCM 1052 helmet for sale you're interested, it's a large and black.

I used to use an HT2 and when it finally wore out I switched to the Bauer 4000. The 4000 is very comfortable to me.

if you are willing to spend more the 8000 is nice but if not the 4000 is good too i had one abour 4 years ago

Carbster is my favorite but it rubs a bit right behind my ear so I use the Itech all the time. I may re-pad my 235 and start using it again.
