How Often Do You Go Through Sticks

I found that my sticks basically go too soft after a year and become a detriment to my play. Not that I am amazing but I can really feel the lack of pop on my shots now compared to a new one and it is pretty disappointing. But I'll keep using them until they break.

Since I switched to higher-end sticks, I've had them break most often mid-shaft when getting hit by pucks, hacks, and such. For this reason, I went to an ABHS for a while and now a friends new company, Twig. Been pretty happy with both and you can't beat the price to replace them.

Must have jinxed myself. Tried to take a clapper yesterday and felt the stick bend awkwardly once it hit the ice. Gave it another flex and it snapped.
