Girdle comparison

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

looking for a new girdle. have been wearing the bauer adaptable core & it is too bulky and uncomfortable.

my friend is sending me the warrior dynasty girdle to try out. i have also tried on the tackla 4000 core pad girdle which was amazingly light & mobile.

wondering thoughts on the warrior dynasty? compared to the tackla 4000 compared to the older warrior projekt.

thanks for your help.

Personally, I dislike the dynasty girdle. The lack of adjusting on it compared to other girdles hinders it immensely IMO.

I am currently using Bauers one.8 girdle with some modifications done and I have no complaints. If you could find a Projekt girdle, I would definitely go with that over the dynasty. Just my 2 cents.

In my opinion, you will not find a girdle that offers higher level protection that is as light as the 4000. From just a "protection/weight" standpoint, it is an amazing piece of equipment. Some drawbacks are that they can be hard to find, they are expensive, and there aren't any adjustments at all. No length, no thigh wrap, and you can only slide them on-off as opposed to opening them up. I have also heard of some durability issues, especially with the 4500.

It would be nice to see a manufacturer come up with a girdle that has the better protection and the light weight of the 4000, but have some adjustment capability as well. I have always thought that CCM should do something with a girdle in U-Foam, and now D30. Both of those are light but offer great protection.

Funny, I was just thinking that earlier today. I have absolutely zero inside information as I am overseas and have no friends inside (and hardly any outside as well) of the industry, but if I were a betting man and were given favorable odds, then I'd bet that this new protective FitlLite line that I read about may include a girdle.
