today i snapped my pro stock grip xn10 and well ,i need a new stick obviesly ,wut are your views on the xn10 vs the stealth and what other sticks might you suggest?

I had a chance to use my XN10(retail) yesterdat and before I used I asked JR what his thoughts on the stick were, and he was exactly right. He told me that there was a lot of vibration. I liked the shaft shape and the weight, but after going back to my Response+, I felt no vibration, but the puck felt different on the blade. I like the stick but perhaps I still need to break in the flex.

My friend has a Stealth, but his shaft shape feels a little bigger than the ones I have been seeing now a days. The only problem with the Stealth at this point is that it comes in one flex options and 4 curve options as opposed to TPS who gives you three flex options and many curve options. I would have to say its PP, but the Stealth did feel lighter than my XN10 but weight isnt everything.

The XN10 will break in after a couple of icetimes. Mine had the vibration-"issue" in the beginning and after about 4 skates it was perfect.

I would suggest the xx. Im in love with the 87 flex and I didnt mind the hossa so I got it. Although its not as light as the stealth or xn10, the balance is amazing so it feels just as light as them. The only other stick I would suggest would be the response + and I didnt get that cause there wasnt a grip option.

I agree, I love my XX to death and the 87 XX is perfect for me, but I wish they had a sakic-ish pattern on the Bauer line.

The naslund is the new bauer sakic for next year.

I would recommend the response +. I haven't had a chance to try either the XN10 or the Stealth but the Response + is the best one piece that I have used. It is light and more importantly balanced and has lasted me all season so far at about 2 ice times per week considering using other sticks for certain games and practices. Yeah so if you want a durable well balanced OPS I say go for the response +.

I did, must've skipped over that part.... Now I may actually stick with Bauer products.

how do you feel about two pieces?

I just started messing around w/ a grip lite z-carbon combo and an 1100 w/ a sherwood 950 blade.

The balance is pretty gotdang sick in the GL/Zcarb combo and from what I hear on the board, they're both tanks.

Not to mention GL + Zcarb = less money than OPC B)

Flex and curves would be my biggest concern. Try and find the ones that are best for you.

yeah i use an ultralite w/ z-carbon blade and i like it alot. its lasted me a while and i have a nice shot w/ it. If your looking for one-piece id recomend the xx. ive tried a couple OPS and i liked that one the most.

If you have it down to the XN10 or the Stealth, I would take the XN10 because for me it's 70 bucks cheaper. If they're the same price I would get a Stealth.
