lexa 1 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 Anyone knows what special inserts uses Shea Weber under his laces? Looks like a special thing that enlarges height of the boot and allows to tight laces harder. Anybody know where this "thing" is available to buy? Thanks in advance.
shoot_the_goalie 281 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 I believe those are Shotblocker XT Shortys. They're to help protect the front of the foot from pucks.
lexa 1 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 Thank you. Looks really close, but I believe that Shea Weber's protection is narrower and have only 2 holes for laces. It may be something like a custom order. Shotblocker XT Shortys may have the same effect on skating for sure.

Maybe they are custom shotblocker shortys, cause they don't look like they have the small flaps at the tops you see in the retail version. But the ShotBlocker website uses Weber as an endorsed by player. http://www.shotblockers.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=content&menuid=12&pageid=1004
