CCM Curve Question

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to pick up a new twig, specifically the CCM Tacks Grip.

Coming from an Easton Heatley curve and from a Warrior Zetterberg curve, would the Hossa curve or Tavares curve be closer to what I've used?

P40 Hossa - it's a deeper mid curve but the lie is similar. Pro stock P14's are close also but these are a rare beast.

going from Warrior W88...look at the P40 Hossa.  Anyone who like the W88 I would recommend at least looking at the P46 Bergeron if you like the P40 curvature, but want some openness on the toe.

Not that this is my thread to ask on but I'm in a similar situation. I'm in the market for an older Tacks, but the two curves I like more (P19 & P40) have few stock left. Is the P45 like the Bauer PM9 or the P88? Or different altogether?

Also, is the P40 closed at the toe, and how does that impact shooting? My experiences shooting closed toe curves are not great.

Thanks.

I feel like the p45 is like a pm9 and p88 had a baby. It's kind of in the middle of those two.  Pm9 is my go to, but playing with a p45 or p88 isn't much of an adjustment.

Hmm, okay. I'm looking at getting a Supreme 170 or Tacks 3052, and my choices come to the Kane or Ovechkin curve types on both, as well as the P45 on the Tacks. I feel like the Ovi is a little bit too much loft, but the PM9 was too little and not easy to shoot with. Would the P45 be a fix? (I.E. Slightly less open than the Ovechkin, more open than the Kane / Stamkos, same depth as the Kane.)

Thanks.
