Cleaning hockey pant scuffs?

Does anyone have any info or remedies for cleaning scuff/puck/stick marks on hockey pants? I want to remove the marks but not lighten the color of the pants so it looks even worse.

I'm sure its possible however I have always considered those scuffs similar to scars you should be proud of. In the end they are only cosmetic. I know this wasn't helpful for your dilemma however I hope it gave you something to think about.
