Inno Tapered blades

Recommended Posts

Hey, first off i love this site and thank god i found it. I was wondering if anyone knew about the L-2 and Inno tappered tendon combo. I want to use this but I would like to know specs on it first. Like what Inno curve is most like the Hull from Mission and I was also wondering if the balance of the stick will be thrown off. Lastly I would also like to know If anyone knows about new tappered blades from any company for the 05 season. Thanks a lot in advance. :)

Welcome to the site:) There aren't any "new" blades coming out for '05. If you want info on the ones being re-released look at the catologue reviews at the top of the page.

Also, you can't have a product name in your name (so no L-2).

If you want curve comparisons, go to the pattern database (top of the page)

as far as new blades, i heard easton was coming out with an all wood synthesis blade finally (thank god).

Closest to the Iginla would probably be the McCarty, but those are even harder to find. I don't even know if they make the in tapered. Otherwise I don't think the Mogilny would be too far off.

Hi, I am currently using a L2 shaft with a fedorv/modano inno blade. I have used mission L2 blades and easton synthesis blades before, but the inno blade is the best so far in terms of feel, balance and proformance. It is the lightest blade I have tried and makes the L2 inno combo alot lighter than than standard L2 with L2 blade!! Also in some of the pics of team mission players on the mission website some of the players are using this combo, and I think this is were the new mission Hex-1 stick has come from!! The only down side to the inno blade so far is that the hosel is sightly longer than the normal L2 blade or synthesis, this isn't to much of a hassel just just the but end down a little!!

I think Mogilny would be your best bet, if not look for a McCarty. Yes both are available in tapered blades. Inno's are known for their great puck feel and I've found them to be very light. It looks like a good choice, but Inno tapered blades are hard to find sometimes, so good luck in your search.

a reebok tapered blade is being released in response to the question regarding any new 05 blades.

I believe CCM is releasing a Tapered V130 shaft and blade as well.

I believe Mission has two more tapered blades for the L2 combo for 05. Leopold and Ribeiro. As for the Inno question, McCarty is a bigger curve and Mogilny opens up more. Neither is exact. Right now I'm using a different tapered blade in mine without any problems.
