CCM HG4RPP Vs HG4RXP

Does anyone know the difference? I can’t seem to find any information.

I have a pair of the HG4RRP. Love em' so much I just ordered a 2nd pair. When I went glove shopping last October, I tried on every retail model from every manufacturer available in my area (so no STX gloves), and these were the most comfortable BY FAR, and the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn.

In comparison to the HG4RXP and HG4RPP, just looking at pictures online of each type. Compared to my RRPs, I'd say the

RXPs are narrower

RPPs are flatter

My RRPs are kinda round/stubby IMO.

 

Now I could be totally guessing but that's my take on it.

Obviously the only real way to tell is try each type on, which might be hard to do.

I believe the RPPs have shot blockers but I've seen gloves labeled RPP with no blockers.  They could just be mislabeled which unfortunately adds to the confusion.

XP = Extra Protection

PP = Plate Protection

Regular Protection possibly?
