Eagle gloves

Recommended Posts

Can anybody steer me to some good sites that carry Eagle gloves?? I checked out all the sites I usually shop at (hockeygiant, hockeymonkey, epuck, etc.), but for some reason I don't trust that I'm gonna get the right pair i want. The Eagle model/sizing system can be confusing, and I can tell by the way most sites have their ordering info that they don't understand the system.

Any new yorkers, or neighbors...any good local stores that carry eagle gloves?? I know hockey shops are few and far between where i live, and none of them are eagle dealers, so i'm stuck. thanks!!!

I can tell you that Hawk Hockey (hockeymonkey.com) has a TON of Eagle gloves in stock at their store in Santa Ana, CA. They have a lot of basic stock colors, so they may have what you need.

i'm lookin for an X70 (shorter cuff;w/ white eagle logo tab), style one, Navy blue. that would make them model #131 if i'm not mistaken. i think the picture on the eagle site is wrong, the 131 pic looks to be a black/navy glove, which wouldn't make them a style one. i'm lookin for the flat navy w/ white lettering.

thanks for pointing me to those sites, i'll check them out

Eagle sizing is actually pretty simple but can be really confusing to people that don't know their system. Basically all of their gloves are 14" and the intermediates are 13" and are usually designated by the regular model name but with an "i" on the end, for example the X70 is 14" and the X70i is 13".

Try the proshop in IceLand in New Hyde Park. They have a pretty good selection of eagles.

Also, thehockeyshop has a pretty good selection of eagles.

That is the only place around here that I can think of. In Suffolk County the pro shop in Superior Ice Rink has Eagles as well.

thanks guys. i'm gonna go check out that place in new hyde park on saturday.

I understand the sizing system, but most of the websites seem to have it confused, which is why i'd rather not order them over the web. I just see myself ending up with the wrong thing.
