No. Same size as the senior Iginla (little longer) with a lower lie.

Thanks, that's a good look at it. Can you post a side by side of the curves too? Pro's website is terrible at actually showing the different geometries.

I think I'm going to have to give that pattern a try. So tempting.

Thanks again. It looks great.Looking back at the Iginla and McDavid blade face comparison, it looks like there's a bit of rocker in the middle of the McDavid where the Iginla's almost completely flat. I like that little difference, and the lower lie. Damn tempting.

Yeah, I'm going to have to try that. Thanks again for the pictures. I can't say it enough how bad Geppetty is at showing the actual blade geometries they offer. That's one of the most important points. Your pictures show the differences 10x better than what they're doing.

I love his products and I generally like his vision and theoretically love his nerdery. But it feels like despite his love of curves and strong knowledge base, he is terrible about describing the curves. He’ll go on and on about a minute detail, and then gloss over a really obvious difference or comparison.

I’ll stan his company all day, but any curve info I have to go triple check on the rest of the Internet.

I agree. He isn't very reliable when it comes to curve info, which is odd. That makes it all the more impressive he's accomplished what he has.

One of my teammates ordered one and regretted it. He's usually a P92 or P28 guy. He's got P28 and P28M from Pro now, and really likes them.

I toyed around with it after he decided to shop it around to anyone who might take it off his hands. I thought it was alright. It was a little hard to get a great sense of because it was the super round shaft shape, which isn't as much my thing. I liked the straighter portion on the heel of the blade, but the toe shape wasn't really great for me. That might have changed if I tweaked the balance a bit.

Old post, but I figured I'd add my two cents for future internet searches. As a point of reference, for the past decade or so I'd mostly used a P88 with a P38 thrown in there for a bit. I would generally agree with flip's comments. An open heel throws me off. The PRO34 is relatively flat and the then there is a moderate curve and loft from the middle to toe. Those parts I really love. However, there is a pretty extreme rocker, which I don't like. And the toe shape is very pointy. Between the rocker and toe shape, it caused some issues for me. I would sometimes bumble pucks under the toe. I play old man hockey at this point and often do high flips to the neutral zone for the speedy young guns. I find I really need to focus on getting under the puck, or I'll just muffin the puck.

Can anyone comment on how the PRO97 compares to the P92 as far as the curve from the heel to mid-point. Some angles it looks about the same and in others it looks a good bit flatter.

I would say it’s flatter overall heel to toe, maybe only slightly from heel to midpoint. Lie is definitely lower.

Thanks. Is there less loft heel to mid-point? That's what I don't like about a P92, not the amount of curve.

I dont have them in front of me but with the PRO97 being flatter, every thing is toned down. Definitely not as a open
