Wasn’t expecting that tight of a wrap, just looking to see if it was possible to get a better wrap than i currently have

Keep an eye out for Bauers 2024 stuff, they have a new product coming out to assist the heating process achieve a tighter wrap. Basically a wrap to replace the saran wrap method

You could try this, see link below to my post. I have done this to fix lace bite (I've laced up for the first time in about 5 years and am skating lace bite free!!!!!!!!!) but you could use this to get a better wrap. I haven't baked the boot but I think you could fit the extensions, heat the boot, lace up and when the boot is set then remove the extensions.

Just came to my head but did you try doing the runners/lace lock loop method as well? It may not help you achieve more wrap per se but it'll def keep the laces tight especially during forward flexion.

Watching the Winter Classic and rebaked the boots using the convection setting on my oven (never used that before) and used thick neoprene strap from when I had shoulder surgery for the wrap. DEFINITELY got a tighter wrap using this method including around the ankle. Will try to find time this week to test them out on the ice, but I’m crossing my fingers I may have finally got them dialed in. Thanks for all the tips and suggestions!

You didn't have shrink wrap laying around. I would imagine shrink wrap would be the tightest wrap. I usually go to town when doing my trues. 12-15 revolutions of the shrink wrap per skate lol

Didn’t have extra shrink wrap in the house and didn’t want to go out. Figured this way was also a bit more environmentally friendly and worked exactly how I needed it to
