mojo122 538 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 The Eagle Fedorov models are HGT knockoffs. Down to the tapered fingers and everything.JR, I'm looking to get nylon TPS gloves. Are the only difference between the backrolls of the HGT and HG1 aesthetics, or are there some functional differences? I probably have to go custom anyways if I can for the digitech palms. jay 1 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 The backrolls on HG1's are straight and the HGT's are angled. The roll closest to the fingers also is split on the HGT's.
mojo122 538 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 The backrolls on HG1's are straight and the HGT's are angled. The roll closest to the fingers also is split on the HGT's.Thanks Jay. Looking at them you would think the lower rolls that are split might improve natural hand movement, yet you still see a lot of guys wearing HG1's.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Many of them are hybrids.
kosydar 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Goalieheaven's eBay store usually has a few pairs of GI HG1s, so you might want to check that out for a good pic of them.
JR Boucicaut 3804 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Many of them are hybrids. Exactly. A lot of guys get the HG1 top and the HGT fingers.
Kovy_Ribs_Fedo 3 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Some people said to me that they are customs CP 94's...What did you guys think about that.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Some people said to me that they are customs CP 94's...What did you guys think about that. The most similar model is probably the CP series, but they aren't like any normal retail model.
GekigangarIII 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Some people said to me that they are customs CP 94's...What did you guys think about that. The eagle "fedorov" model *is* a cp94. CP is eagle's custom model, you can get all kinds of mods on that model (split fingers, straight/angled backrolls, cuffs, etc.) The Fedorov model is just a cp94 (meaning custom 4 backroll) with the options that Fedorov used and they're selling them retail.
