predshockey17 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 So here is my story. I went into one of my Lhs and they had a sherwood eclipse from one of the guys on the Muskegon Fury. I bought and loved the dang thing. I had it for a few months and just it just broke. The blade was so sweet. Does sherwood make custom sticks even? And if so do you think I could get that pattern?Wish I had a digital camera, because you guys need to see this curve.
Neo5370 132 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Yep. Sherwood does custom orders on all their sticks, even composites.

predshockey17 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Sorry it is very hard to explain. Like the toe of the blade is normal on top but the bottom of it comes out far. I wish I had a camera.
Neo5370 132 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Wow are you serious? How much do you think? Contact them and ask: http://www.sher-wood.com/contact.php Will they give him a quote though? I think the lady I talked to a while back told me to contact a local sherwood dealer. Although she did list all the options that were available and min. per order.Preds........if you're lookin' at Eclipses or axion blades, that's gonna be a min. order of 6 I believe at a premium over retail too.I hope you're rich haha. Let us know how it turns out.
predshockey17 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Thanks for the help guys. But if I have to order 6 of them well then I can't. I only have a 5.15 an hour job.
Neo5370 132 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Depending on your specs preds, you might be able to find some people to split the order with. Or even sell them on ebay. Teeeeeeeeechnically speaking.........they would be akin to "pro stock" as they will custom ordered specs.Don't most custom orders come out of the pro department? Or am I comletely mistaken? #94 3 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 I'm almost positive the minimum for composite customs is 2, not 6.
Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Oh, and you might follow up on this with CCM: http://en.ccmsports.com/community/articles...icle_id=138&s=0[rieth8] > I really like the replacement Vector blades. Will these ever be offered so you can order them in custom curves? If not, which blades does CCM offer custom to the public? [dmcgibbo] > At present our demand far exceeds our ability to produce so we are focusing on our 6 retail patterns... however our long term plan may include a custom pattern program. You can also have Farrow make your stick, they apparently do custom: http://www.flarrow.com/custom.htmlBallistik seems to offer customized blades (but looks like they'd have to be wood blades) http://www.ballistikhockey.com/HTML/Profil...s.htm#customizeThis has limited customization (looks like the only thing customizable is the lie spanding over 3 patterns) http://www.bbsticks.com/blades.htmYou can see if Christian does it (as this site indicates they at least do custom replacement blades): http://www.hockeystick.com/custom/
Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted January 23, 2005 Thanks for the help guys. But if I have to order 6 of them well then I can't. I only have a 5.15 an hour job. In that case, I think you're going to have a VERY tough time. I think you're going to be hard pressed to find a company that will do a custom job like that and only let you do 1 or 2 sticks/blades. You'd likely be better off buying wood replacement blades that are as close to the pattern you like as possible, then either curving it yourself the old fashioned way or buy a procurver ( http://www.procurve.ca/ )
