Seriously, the problem I have with a lot of genres is individual songs may sound great, but too often they blend into each other. Rap, reggae, country, techno, house. Their highlights are great, but I have a tough time listening to an hour straight. Except Marley -- he's classic.

Even if you are not a fan of rock, there's no doubt the Beatles sound different than the Stones versus U2 versus Lynyrd Skynyrd versus the Killers and so on.
