Stick like FT5 / jetspeed?

Recommended Posts

Curious in trying some other sticks out and while I love my jetspeed FT5's I am a bit bored of the same stick. Love the feel just kind of have money burning a whole in my pocket. Im not a fan really of the nexus' or hyperlite 2, and have had a True that I liked but the curve wasnt my favourite p90m.

I believe the Pulse is supposed to be similar?

any suggestions?

Pulse is a variable kick so yes it's similar if you're looking at trying different brands. Is your ft5 an ft5 or ft5 pro?

Also prostockhockeysticks makes a variable kick VF and you can choose some pro player curve options too.

Warrior lx3 pro is advertised as a low kick/quick release but from what I've read it kind of plays like a hybrid and is very versatile too.

Warrior LX2/LX3 Pros are very similar with the hybrid kick points (I believe the Covert line is the low kick line and LX is variable).  I was a long time Jetspeed and LX2 pro user and had a handful of Trigger models, but lately I am using the SherWood Rekker Legend Pro and loving it (doesn't hurt I got a great deal around Black Friday when Hockey Monkey had a big sale on clearance items).

The SherWood supposedly has a "Dual Zone Low Kick Point" according to their marketing terms, whatever that means, but in play it feels more like a Jetspeed than a Trigger and has really impressed me (so much so that I ordered another 2 before the sale was over... it's hard finding 75 flex P90TM sticks at great prices).  I'm not sure what model replaced this one but it might be worth looking into this or the newer one if you can find it.
