go on getty images and search Kovalchuk, iv'e been looking and his skates look like they are v12's made to look like flexlites.

Sorry to say this but NHL players are some of the biggest bitches in all of pro sports, how are you going to help Nike sell a product that you can't even wear...

First the lockout and these little things make me wish the nhl would fold and start over with guys that play cause they love the sport, not cause it's the thing that can get them paid the most

And I cant stand those Swedes, Naslund, Lidstrom, Forsberg, Salo etc...

That keep saying how every year will be there last cause they wanna go home....

WELL STAY THE F&*( HOME AND LET THE PEOPLE THAT REALLY DREAMED ALL THERE LIFE TO ONE DAY BE IN THE NHL TAKE YOUR SPOT

They are also on of the biggest part of this lockout mess cause it's guys like them that make the saleries go out of control cause teams got to give them more money so there baby ass can't turn down the money...

Sorry about that, I just love hockey so much that it makes me emotional when I see guys that have the world use it with no morals...

Hockey is 90% of my life... Right now I have a herniated disk so I can't play and I can't see it on TV so...

This lockout thing is making me hate the fact that I like hockey, it makes all the hockey comunity look bad...

It looks like he has ICM blades and holders on whatever boot he is wearing, too.

The original commercial with Naslund and Kovalchuk was pretty good, though.

Tennis pros will re-paint their raquets to another model's or company's colours in order to get the endorsement money. This was more prevalent among the European pros because European recreational consumers tended to use the rackets that they thought their favourite player(s) were using.

So, now Nike is doing it also for hockey. I guess Nike thinks that the majority of the non-pro hockey equipment consumers are like the European recreational tennis consumers, buying what they think their favourite player(s) are using, rather than what fits or would work best for them.

Guessing from Ohlund's skates these pictures are pretty recent. Interesting to see him over the years go from the brown Ultralite to the Green UL to Synergy to Vapor XX and now back to that Synergy shown in the pics.

I don't really understand where this Sweden rant comes from. To say that they personally are the ones driving up salary prices is asinine. They have some of the highest paid players in the league, because they have some of the best super stars in the league. And why would it matter if they say they want to finish off their career in Sweden? Aren't they entitled to play in whatever league they want? I personally have a lot of respect for them because they are so patriotic and they hold their country up so high, that its an honor to them to play in their home country. For a guy like Forsberg, what else does he have to prove in the NHL? He has basically done everything anyone could ever hope for, except winning a championship back home in Sweden. Why is it such a bad thing for him to want to finish off his career there?

I was referring to his skates (The XXX) that the picture is pretty recent since the XXX is new for Ohlund since I've seen him start his NHL Career with some CCM Tacks, and then switching to the Bauer Vapor 10 and finally a pair of Vapor XX. I'm just wondering why Ohlund is switching back to a Synergy after using the Vapor XX for practically the whole year last season.
