you might also want to look into a mission L-2. there a tapered shaft and they come with 2 blades.

i would go for the r2 xn10 rather than the r2.

The R2 is a good shaft. As is any Inno tapered, and the Mission L-2. Depending on what you like, any of those is a good choice.

i had a R2 with the composite blade man was it light it was lighter then my synergy no jokes. it was a good stick the blade was kind of cheap tho.

I like my R2 XN10 but the Response shaft (regular R2) is one of my all time favorites.

The Mission L-2 sounds like a better deal just because it comes with 2 blades. I've never owned one myself but I've been hearing pretty good things about it.

mission might have the mccauly curve avalible in the l-2 blades and that is pretty much dead on to the lidstrom. Look at the catolouge review to see if it well be avalible soon.

No McCauley for L-2's if I remember correctly. Get the L-2 Shaft with 2 Elias (or other popular...) blades and try to trade the two blades for 2 Lidstrom Synthesis blades or work something out like that.

I also heard really good things about the R2 XN10...I really want to try one myself, but my LHS sells them for like 190 CND
