Helmet Fit

how do they compare? i fit well into the 8000 except my ears are too low on my head for the helmet. is the 8k a deeper/wider helmet? my LHS is getting a shipment of Bauer on tuesday so i might be picking up the 8000 (they don't have the colour i want right now) before my game, but i don't know if i should wait for the 8k, if it's better fitting.

hmm, i'm not completely sure about helmet sizing, but do helmets get deeper as sizes go up? also, do they have 8000's in an XL size?

The RBK is pretty wide but it didn't seem to be a very deep fitting helmet to me. By making them fit deeper, they would weigh more, something everyone is trying to avoid right now.

The RBK has a comfort fitting adjustment. I would wait till they come in and try one.

I can't wait myself, I ordered 50 of them, they are susposed to be here this week!

The comfort adjustment doesn't do that much, it just snugs up the back.

Yea, I tried one on, but i have a normal head (on the outside). Still very thin liner inside so may fit better for long heads. Won't know till we start fitting
