i just pulled out the plug to my new m-1 and theres gray foam on the end why is it there??

No idea but it's useless as far as I know. Probably some sort of excess. I'm sure if it were orange it'd have some value. LOL ;)

The reason there is open cell foam on the end of the end plug is simple.

We use the foam to avoid glue from displacing to the bottom of the plug and then into the shaft, causing that annoying rattling glue effect.

The other benefit is that the glue stays between the inner shaft walls and plug, ensureing a tight fit and secure end plug.

I hate that glue so much! I've got to get the loose glue out of my shaft.

Don't worry, it was somewhat justified.

We've had some great stories for some of our product, there was a more simple reason for this one.

sorta off topic, but Miseaujeu, have u guys made the m-1 blade stronger this year? i had a 75 flex and no offense but after about a month of roller hockey, the blade flat out was destroyed. I am 14 and dont break sticks often. it actually made me mad because the M-1 is the best OPS IMO. I love that cole curve!
