Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 I'm seriously considering ordering one of these, I've searched everywhere, and still can't find an offical weight on the M-2 shaft. Mission states it's lighter than any other shaft on the market, but I would still like to know the offical weight, and if it's offical that it's lighter then the Redlight XN10. Thanks!DanEdit : spelling
JR Boucicaut 3809 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 It is not lighter than the RL XN10. I believe the shaft was measured against the Easton Ultra Lite and Z-Bubble.I just got a shipment of them in. If I am not mistaken, I believe the number was 290g.
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Cool. What are they selling for JR? $89.99 like on GreatSkate? Also what are the supposed to be like preformance wise? Dan
JR Boucicaut 3809 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Yeah, it's a $90 shaft. The thing feels solid as all hell. Plus it's got a 45-day warranty...
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Awesome, solid is definatly good for me! Compareable to, say, a Z-Bubble on preformance terms?
Kyle_M 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Now I'm thinking of getting one. 45-day warranty that's good they must be pretty durable. ;)

Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Thanks!! Hey Keith, what other sticks is the M-2 competing with?
Miseaujeu 291 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Thanks!! Hey Keith, what other sticks is the M-2 competing with? When we say Lighter, we compared it to the same flex shaft and length without plug for the Easton Ultra Lite.If you're asking what it would compare with on the open market, I would guess any regular connection shaft.Keith
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Well, there's a whole variety of different qualities of shafts (ie: Z-Bubble to a Typhoon). What preformance level is this stick at? Like could you try and estimate the levels of preformance and wear out of 10 like on the Easton sticks. Sorry I keep bugging ya, but I just wanna make sure it's for me.Dan
Aggie 9 Report post Posted April 17, 2004 I've had an M-2 for the past two weeks, and I really like mine. I put in a Z-Carbon blade and the balance is fine. Great shot power!
kenneth 5 Report post Posted April 17, 2004 i've had pro-stocks for a year now, they are the best shafts i've every used, and really light. it feels lighter to me than the RL xn10, mine you i don' thave an endplug and i dunno if being prostocks they are made even lighter. if the retail perform anything like the prostock, then they are a steal at 90. JGraz15 55 Report post Posted April 17, 2004 Kieth - just curious why the 85 flex weighs more than the 100 flex. I know it is minimal, just curious
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2004 Honestly, how much difference have you noticed between the M-2 and a tapered shaft, I'm gunna get one and thats what I'm coming off of, will the adjustment be hard?
rh_joel 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 Will this be about the same as the L-2? Just give or take abit for the slight variations.
