I messed around with my friends mirror wave and it sucked for the building I tried it in, it was a dark building to begin with. I figured if I tried it in a lighter building it wouldn't be as bad.

yo briggy, that looks so sweet, how much did u pay for the visor? was it ahrd to put on the 5000?

I paid $55 at my LHS and it was quite easy to put on my Bauer.

i think there are 2 shades of blue or maybe it was jsut the light the pic was taken or the lighting in the arena that made it look differetn, what are the points or the tint anyways are they just cosmetic or do they actaully do something, i personally think they are sweet but i was jsut wondering if they serve a purpose besides looks

well for one i think they look sick, i really like em and two most rinks around here are new or have really bright lighting and i have sensitive eyes from working carpentry getting saw dust in em, so i tried my line mates tinted itech and it really helped, but i want the blue to be sick

I use a yellow tint on my racquetball glasses. It increases the contrast, and theoretically makes the ball easier to see. I use orange Oakley Pro M Frames to trap shoot with. It really does seem to help, but then again it's probably personal preferance, but I would think a little tint could help contrast, but that's it.

I remember a couple years ago Weinrich talking about how the yellow visor helped cut down the glare of the bright NHL arenas.
