sherwood21 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 Hey, I just added a bunch of songs to my iPod mini, but they were from my sisters computer so the old songs I had got deleted. That's ok with me, but a bunch of songs that I don't want on my iPod are on it, and I have no clue how to delete them or take them off of it. I have iTunes and I have my iPod here, so if you guys could tell me how to do it that would be sweet.
mack 44 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 Should be able to use iTunes to manage playlists. Just click on the song and remove/clear.
Dangles 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2005 In iTunes, you can click on the blue/black checkmark, which is the next thing on the right of the number.
tml_bte89 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 Does it cost to upload songs into an Ipod or can u just like get songs from kazaa and load them in the ipod
mack 44 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 It's free to take any song you have on your computer (regardless of how you got it) and put it on.

asdfa 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 I was bored  LOLcan't you just delete songs directly from your ipod? i think it'd be stupid for them to force you to connect to a computer
tokes 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 The only way you can delete them from your ipod directly is to reset the whole thing, it clears every song and all your data. Otherwise you have to use itunes.
Dangles 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 On the iPod note, I got a 4GB Mini yesterday (Sat.) and it seems the earphones are a little big for my ears. Is this something that I will just get used to?
mack 44 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 Just get new ones, the earphones are crap.

asdfa 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 mine isn't... if apple has already put so many features into their ipod, why can't they simply add a delete feature?
tokes 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 Just get new ones, the earphones are crap. Yep the stock ones suck. I don't even listen to music very loud or very bass heavy music and the diaphragm in the right one broke in about a week and it buzzes. I can't wait for my Etymotic ER-6i's to get here! Hmm...I haven't had a problem with the earbuds at all. I use a good set of headphones for my laptop, but the ones that come with the ipod aren't bad at all. That said, i did just bend the plastic part above the connectoin point out of shape and now they randomly die.
mack 44 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 I do all right with the Sony Noise Canceling ones, especially on planes.
tokes 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 I do all right with the Sony Noise Canceling ones, especially on planes. Are those the in-ear ones, or are they the earmuff type style? I tried the earmuff ones but none of them are big enough to fit my head comfortably, so my parents bought me the Etymotic ones as an early Bday gift.
mack 44 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 Earmuff style ones. They do fine with me and even when the battery died and wasn't able to use the noise cancelation they still blocked a lot of noise out.
Gee12 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 I got the Apple Ipod In-Ear Ones, they are really good at blocking out the sound, and they come with a range of in-ear silicone things to fit your ear size...quite expensive though $$$

WOW, ER-6i's are a heft investment! :o write a review on how they are :D It's my 18th Bday in the summer, and I really needed a new set of headphones, so the rents were gracious enough to get these for me early. A guy my Brother goes to school with has a pair, he let me borrow em for the day once and they sounded beautiful. Cancels out noise great, and the sound is about as perfect as I'm going to get with mostly 128 kb MP3's. Good bass but not too heavy, great mids, and great highs. Personally I would rather spend 150 bucks on a set of amazing headphones that sound fantastic and are comfy as hell rather than some 30 dollar junkers that suck.
