Bauer 8090s?

Anyone use these or know how they are? I'm looking at getting new skates and I was wondering how durable they are and how they perform. Thanks.

Supreme's are great. I know many who use them. They have a great forward felx before break in. I only chose the Nike v-12's over them because of a tiny difference in fit of the arch towards the ankle.

i was also looking to get a pair but my lhs wasn't going to order any. the guy said it would ft similar to the classic gold. is that true, can i try on a classic gold to get a size for the 8090's?

The 8090 is a GREAT skate. I love mine. They fit differently though, make sure they fit you before you get them. If they do fit you, they have held up great for me and are very comfortable. They also come with solid steel which is a BIG plus.

if you're wondering about durability, i've had mine for a year, played about 5-6 times during the season and the've only gotten broken in, no real loss of support/stiffness and the only real problems are cosmetic. the liner in my skates has become pretty hard when it's dry, though it's fine when it gets a bit wet

Fit is pretty much exactly the same as classic gold...wich is also a outstanding skate!!!!!!
