Recommended Posts

Hey guys, just thought I would make this one thread for all iPod and iTunes questions and discussions since alot have been popping up lately and this will cut down the amount of topics.

Lets start if off with a new iPod Fireware Update.

Version 1.1

This updates the video, nano and clickwheel ipods.

------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.-Project_2501, Me

Yes that is for iTunes. For your nano I dont think it has done anything major but for the video it fixed the lag (IMO), added radio(you have to buy the new remote) and if you hold the menu button it takes you back to the MAIN menu instead of the previous list. These are the ones I have found out already...Apple has released an offical lists of fixes it just mentions:

What's new in iPod Updater 2006-01-10:

* Support for the iPod Radio Remote for iPod with video and iPod nano

* Bug fixes for iPod with video, iPod nano, iPod with color display, iPod mini, and iPod with Click Wheel
