4 pointsThis year in our fund raising for the JDRF I decided to do a benefit hockey game. I can say that the fist Hockey Fights T1D game was a big success. My little guy who is 4 has Type 1 Diabetes and got to score the first goal of the game. He was thrilled.

1 pointSeems that the marking on my stone is higher when the numbers are down. Approximately 6 clicks up on my holder. Going to try the numbers up again and see where the mark is. Whatever makes the marking on the stone more centered will determine which way I will put my spinner for the rest of my sharpening machines life.

1 pointjumped up to a B league this season from my previous hangin around in D leagues. I was worried it would be a lot more physical, but my first two games have netted 0 penalties on either side. I hope this is something I could get used to, good clean hockey =)
