Team photo from this weekend's tournament. I am (of course) the goalie. Should've taken off my sweatband. Oh well.

when getting my supertacks I tried on the Ultratacks in both the 6 and 6.5. The 6 felt a little tight especially in terms of width where the toebox is attached to the rest of the boot. Since I was told that in the Supertacks that I would have to go up a 1/2 size, I got the 6.5 Supertacks ordered for me and they fit perfect. For reference I was in a 6.5 D APX2 with the big toe area of the toebox punched out a little on my left skate, while I fit fine in a 6.5 D Supreme 1S without having the toe box altered. The Supertacks for me were perfect and even better after baking, no pressure points and would say that for me atleast the heel lock has been the best I've ever had.

If you don't have a fit center nearby, then use this method I wrote up awhile back for tracings: Also, don't hesitate to go down a holder size. I went from a 272mm to a 263mm holder and I absolutely love it. The trade-offs of going with a shorter holder is that you'll be more agile and you'll be able to utilize more of the extreme toe. The downsides are that you'll have less stability from the shorter runner and for a short period of time you'll find that your stopping weight will be to be adjusted. Other than that, I'm glad I went down a size... everything began to just feel right.

Sorry been swamped with training at the skating lab. And VH sales and sharpening. Well from what I can see and keep knowing the way Rob dies the fits they look about 2 mm to long.... however sometimes when measurements come through they are a smidge off. If he had used a toe plug for size of feet differences (because some are large) then they may have a slight bit extra to fit the holder requested. But to be honest I didn't see the drawings the measurements the old skates the present skates so it's really hard to say!

Mine did not require new holes. Used exactly the size it required. Remember that SB 4.0 has same rivet pattern as Tuuk. As long as you match the holder size you should be good. Had to expand on one of the holes.
