  1. Clearly I completely missed that one! Thanks!
  2. 😱whoa looks like they partnered with True Temper in some way.... “BRT II” technology in the blade, TC2 & MC curves ..... all offerings in True’s fleet of sticks.
  3. No actually. I did not but they had them there as well. If I get a chance to go to Sportchek again in next couple days will let you know.
  4. Held the 60’ 2X PRO not long ago at Sportchek. Obviously could put it on a scale but it was on par with a 415g stick. Was pretty light IMO.
  5. You can now go to MyBauer sticks and choose a black colour option which will make your stick look like Kucherov’s paint job. Available on all 4 stick options (Vapor, Supreme, Nexus, ProCustom).
  6. Yea, I personally did not find this to be blade heavy at all. It’s well balanced and light IMO.
  7. Does the convex/concave shape go throughout the entire shaft? Or is it only in the lower third (pop-matrix) section only? Been wondering if the old Trilage shaft shape would ever return as I liked those a lot - so hoping the entire shaft has this asymmetrical shape
  8. Appears that the flex profile is modified/changed for easier loading according to IG.... Asked my LHS about these and they couldn’t give me too much info but when I asked, they said that there will be more curves other than just p92 like the vapor adv was...
  9. Hopefully something similar to the NXG
  10. Yep - says “Advanced Series Supreme” just below Wilson’s tape job on the handle. stick’s a beaut for sure!
  11. I’m guessing it’s Kuch’s “blacked out” 2S PRO ?
  12. Try maybe plastidip. I’ve never tried myself but heard that it was decent. It wears off from game wear and tear but u can just apply again.
  13. Yea, changed his number recently. Even paid for fans with his old number to get it changed.
  14. Would this be a pro stock only new ADV? Or a “release to the general public via limited quantities soon” new ADV?
  15. There is also a “soft” blade option which is softer than the “medium”. This would be the supreme blade with that gel core.
  16. Ended up picking up a pair. nexus kick, nexus blade, supreme shaft (similar to pre-2nd generation 1N nexus sticks) I don’t have a scale to accurately confirm weight, but it feels very similar to my 2N PRO stick that I have which I think is listed at 410g. I cut my sticks down about 3 inches so the weight drops slightly down even more been using it for several summer pick up sessions and it performs/feels like Bauer’s usual top tier - no surprise there. Aesthetically, The personalization on the under belly is a nice touch. The stick looks much better in person than online in my opinion.
  17. Had the silver and goldish/copper graphics one. Loved the asymmetrical feel of that trilage shaft
  18. Nice look at the new ribcor. Kinda looks like pop matrix on the forehand and convex on the backhand...
  19. The Flylite is available right now on the my Bauer website as well.
  20. I thought I saw somewhere that Bauer moved from 18 month releases back to 2 year releases for sticks - can anyone confirm? Just curious on when the next generation of nexus sticks are due.
  21. Was thinking the same. Not sure on if this is in store only or limited quantities like ADV but the price is like ADV at $400 CAD.
  22. Think they will still be available on myBauer tho
  23. Haven’t got too good of a look as of yet but it looks like Nylander is using a blacked out stick in the leafs game tonight. Not sure if he is also using the DX, but it doesn’t appear to be his usual 2S PRO....unless it’s all spray paint....
  24. Bauer Nexus 2N is actually great bang for the buck imo from one of the “big boys” The 2N has the R-lite blade like the 2N PRO and is listed at 425g which is a pretty light stick. Nicely balanced as well $224 in Canada if I remember correctly. Not sure what price point you are looking at. I used it only for small number of games/skates so can’t give too much detail but from those times that I did use it, it held its own in terms of performance and puck feel.
