  1. Adrenaline isn't supplier for that team so its very unlikely you saw them there.
  2. Calgary. I believe there was one or two pairs remaining in 14"
  3. Yea they don't match any of my team stuff, but for the price I couldn't pass them up! I can always use them in pickup games.
  4. Custom made for a local AAA team, I just lucked out and got a SMOKING deal on them! Micronash palm and gussets
  5. Well I think I scored a pretty sweet deal today! A local shop got these Franchises custom made for a AAA team and was selling them to the public. Retail on them was $269 and after having them on the shelves for a couple months, they marked them down to $99! I had a store credit of $50 for an old pair of skates I turned in, so I ended up paying $54 including tax for a custom pair of Franchises Micronash palms and gussets
  6. So you have 2 pairs of the MLX's now?

  8. Got off work, excited to pick up my skates from warranty repair (new toe caps being installed, fixing some assembly of the boot) only to be told they wont be ready until tomorrow! I just want my skates back
  9. Played 3 games in them and love em so far. With that said I ended up breaking the knee cap of the left shin in my first game. Got very lucky and dealt with an awesome ebayer who actually warrantied the pad for me. Sent him a couple pictures and an hour later I had a shipping # in my email. The myth of these pads pulling out leg hair is somewhat exaggerated. Due to the texture of the material the pads don't really move once you've placed them on your shin, however if you do try and shift them once they are strapped on they will definitely be plucking some hairs. The croslite material thus far has been great, shins are dry by the time I get home from the rink and no smell whatsoever (time will tell if the material lives up to the hype)
  10. Ended up going with the Bauer 5100 and a Bauer DX100 visor. Nice combo.
