    after the remake they stiff don't fit correct. their customer service is great, I'm talking in terms of the skates themselves.

    Good question. The VH/True skates I’ve had in the past, through their custom program, were fine, and even the pro stock pairs worked well. It's just this recent pair that has caused issues. In fact, the pro stock pairs fit better than this latest one. When the company was VH, everything fit perfectly for me. After the transition to True, the fit was slightly off—still decent, but now it’s way off

    My experience with the custom-fit skates I received from True in 2024 has been a challenging skate-related experience. The SVH revised pair feel way too big, and from the moment I got them, they've been problematic. Despite multiple remakes, they still aren't right. As an early adopter of VH footwear skates, I had high hopes for the True skates, but unfortunately, the fit just hasn't worked for me. Customer service has been fantastic throughout the process, though.

    Is there a steel like Bauer ls2.1? I believe it came with a 11’ radius. I used the steel and put a 40/60 cag one on it. Loved the feeling on the ice.

    I had custom one95s and custom NXGs. I had reeboks for a short period and went with VH Footwear. The VH footwear were great. I did use for makos for a bit. They got too soft quickly. My issue is the fact now after using the VH footwear over the years, I tried different brands and still like the lower cut and stiff bottom of the boot. My custom one95s VH Footwear

    The trues were the svh. The VH footwear before the plastic toe cap and the first generation true right after the buyout worked. The Machs fit decent. The shadow feels terrible. I’m 6’3 245 so if use a lower end skate I maybe get half a year out of them

    I had a new scan done but had them use my VH data as a reference. I still have my VH footwear skates. They beat up but they still fit. I’ve emailed them a bunch and they said there’s nothing they can do and a rescan wouldn’t help I wonder why that is. My VH I have to wear extremely thin socks With my trues there’s a lot of space. To much space even with the foam tabs. I really want to now what happened

    I've had the worst experience with the Trues recently. They didn’t fit, were too big, and didn’t feel as good as a previous pair of True Skates or VH Footwear skates I’ve had in the past. I’m back to square one, and nothing on the market seems to fit. I’m running out of options. The last thing I want to do is settle for something I'm unhappy with, and while I don’t want to hang up the skates for good, it’s starting to feel like that might be the only choice. I’m not looking for responses like "True Skates worked for me," as that doesn’t really help me right now. Should I visit another store for a new scan and more measurements? Any suggestions?

    I've been debating going back to the XS holder. I have 3 sets of steel for the edge that would be useless if I went back. I also feel like I had better feel for the ice on the XS than the edge.

    I had a new pair done and they are awful. The left skate is ok, use able but my right skate is a complete mess. My heel won’t sit in the skate correctly and feels very sloppy. I had issues with volume on the right skate as well and they redid the boot. IMO the scan process is flawed. I’m so disappointed with the skate. My traced VHs I actually liked. For Preferred fit what does each mean? True Standard Relaxed Tight

    For those who have done full custom with Bauer. Is it possible to change the boot height? Is it possible to have the boot cut lower? You used to be able to 15 years ago. Could also change the outsole, liner, foams etc.

    Having heel pocket issues on my right skate. Any suggestions on how to fix. They already redid the skates

    Anthony was such a great person. I remember my first Summerjam with him. We spoke a long time about gear and where we thought things were going before hitting the ice. My condolences to you and your family.
