I also agree Letang is a steal! He is just as good if not better than Naserdine who the Pens had brought up for a big part of the season, so I think Letang could have played NHL all year. He's got good offensive talents, and in his little stint scored a couple goals before being sent.. He might not ever be in the all star game, but he'll (hopefully) be a good 2-3-4 defensemen that can put up points. Hopefully he's Gonchar-esq points wise, and not in the box as much :). Seriously man this is a topic about David and all he has accomplished this year, including beating Letang is 4 straight. Go talk about Letang in another thread

I guess guys get snubbed at all levels...not just the NHL ASG. There are guys who ARE playing in that game that will never pan out, and guys who will be drafted way lower than David will...so the Prospect game is not the best indicator of future successes.... Although I'm sure he'd just as much like to play in it. At first I heard David was too old too play but I guess they have changed some things and yes David is playing in the Prospects Game Tomorrow 7PM/ET ON SPORTSNET

He Jr. eligbility is up but he is training the entire year and has some oppertunites for pro hockey next year that I won't specify unless he decides to do so.

Guys don't forget about Pascal(Kovy_Ribs) He is training this entire year and will hopefully be playing pro hockey next year. Good luck to both of the Perrons. Your both an inspiration and best of luck in the future.
