I was frustrated, but like many other people here, I do have several other pairs of gloves to fall back on. What was almost as shocking is how small those are for a 13" glove.

I'm not sure whether I like the cage. The bars are noticeably thicker than the 9900 cage I had on my 5100 helmet. I'll probably try the 9900 this weekend and see how I like it.

I don't think the perf steel was standard on Flexlites, so maybe the previous owner swapped out the original holders for smaller ones with different steel.
