  1. I ordered some of these today. It will be a while before I'm able to try them but I'm convinced that they will work great from all the feedback. I am curious. Are these similar to the Toe Glove that was in the Kor Shift 2 skates?
  2. I think the best thing is that you can always you the trusted Sharpie to color over any blue you don't like. I know I did that for years with my Supremes. Would be cool if Bauer sold a black pen similar to Sharpie that did this.
  3. My personal favorites were the Easton S15 and my current Bauer Vapor X900's The S15's fit my foot better than any other skate. Had great protection and unlike many of you, I had no issues with the quality/breakdown of the skate. I still search for it daily on EBay. The X900 is the closest thing that I have found to the S15 for my foot yet. But to this day, the S15 in my opinion had the best heel lock and fit I've ever come across.
  4. Be sure to let us know how the paint holds up.
  5. I had hoped that Warrior would have acquired them. For some reason I saw the Warrior W in the place of the flying G.
  6. I have two Inno 1100 shafts at home. Was used the other used for a stick and puck. 300 flex.

  7. How much longer is the forearm pad on the new elbows than the RBZ's? I just got a pair of the RBZ's today and they are pretty short. But the fit is awesome.
  8. Do we have a MSRP on the SpeedPlates?
  9. Does the 1S have a stiffer upper than the 1X?
  10. Shotblocker This company does a lot of the Pro’s custom stuff that you see out there. Shotblocker XT is one of the many models they have available. This particular model is designed to protect the entire top/front of your foot where your tongue and laces are. They have now made this model available to be sold to the mass market for $70.00 U.S. a pair. Fit: The XT comes in one size. I wear a 9D skate and it fits as if it was made perfectly for my skate. It measures 6.75” top to bottom and 4.5” left to right at the widest point at the top of the tongue. The XT has a great (hinge) flex point preventing any sort of limitation in your range of motion. I should add that even this hing/flex point is protective as well. They also have some sort of grip finish on the back to prevent the blockers from moving around during play. They have two places in your skates where you are to put your laces through to keep them snug to your boot. One at the bottom eyelets and again at the 3rd or 4th depending on your skate and where your flex point is in the tongue. You will not need longer laces for these. 10 out of 10 Weight: They are extremely light coming in at 70 grams each. You will forget they are on. 10 out of 10 Durability: This is where they excel and you get your money’s worth. These things are tanks. I have taken well over 100 sticks and nearly the same in blocked shots, without even a slight sting. Even after all that they still look as though they are basically new. They are constructed of a high-impact, engineered resin which has been over-molded with an energy-absorbing thermal polymer. 10 out of 10 Intangibles: The only con I have about these is not the instillation, however they are bit of a pain when lacing your top eyelets. They have engineered them to have a hinge and snap system that you can push the top part down to the snap into the very bottom of the protector exposing the top eyelets so you can easily lace up your skates. I personally have found this not to work successfully on my skates and have had to improvise by using a rubber band to hold them down when lacing my top 5 eyelets. For that I gave them an 8 out of 10 in the Fit. Conclusion: I’ve been wearing these now for nearly a year and would highly recommend them to anyone playing D or that stands in front of the net. I never thought that something so protective could be so flexible at the same time. Like I said; They are worth far more than the sale price of $70.00 a pair. My overall rating is a 9.5. This is only due to needing a rubber band every time I lace up my top 5 eyelets. I hope you have found this review to be helpful.
  11. Had these changed to a pittard digital and mesh gussets from Hockey Menders. Have become my new favorite gloves. Sending two more pair to have done the same way,
  12. Amen to That brother!!
  13. Is the D30 SMART FOAM the same as the Crazy Light U FOAM? in the Ultra Light pants. Also are these pants a spin off of the CCM 7000's in terms of fit? Ok so I just watched a video on the D30 Foam. interesting to say the least. I remember seeing something on downhill skiers using this sort of tech in their gear protective gear during the Olympics. Curious though, Nowhere do they say that it is a more than one time use kind of thing. Meaning that once there is impact to the foam, will it be able to do the exact same thing time and time again?
  14. They really are a great fitting glove. I pick up others and still go back to my Pro Stock 11K's all the time.
  15. They were I believe the 1997 Special Edition.
  16. JUNKYARD, I remember those Eagle Gloves. Loved the Black and Silver.
  17. KryptOng Dig'n the TM grips
  18. I really like the idea of the Surgeon 500 elbow pads.
  19. I saw these with white Tuuks on TH and thought that looked great. Just a fan of the solid black look. Thanks for the info on these not being available custom.
  20. MPO; These are the best looking skates from Bauer in a long time. Remind me of the Graf Black Widows. Any chance of Pro's wearing these rather than using a sharpie.
  21. Wasnt the Shift 1 and 2 the early renditions of both the MLX and now Mako?
