Well, I’m wondering about the “home” model specifically. Not sure which one you use, for instance, I’m sure the 14k one that does the profiling will nicely maintain the profile lol

Would a pro sharp home maintain the quad profile? The specs on the sharpener says it does but I’m skeptical. Anyone with a pro sharp who uses a quad?

LHS is seeing some difficulty attaching small marsblades to JR size 3 Jetspeeds. Anyone have any solutions? heal is too narrow?

What’s the turn around time after getting scanned and ordering?

Well I got him the Mako’s for a reason. Namely the same reason they are so popular around these parts. The fit and performance of the boot are important in our eyes, or I would have gone with the token Bauer’s a long time ago. Whether he’s 10 or 20... doesn’t really make a difference (: Again, he’s been wearing Mako’s for the last 3 years and I’m just asking what, if anything is similar outside of VH. Or if there’s anything coming down the line.

Thanks for the recommendations. I’m looking for 3.5 and 4 (jr size; D width), much appreciated. I was considering VH, but I can justify that price tag for a 11 year old. He plays at a high level and uses them 3-4 a week, but I just can’t fathom spending $800 on growing feet.

Well, the “well” has finally dried up in terms of finding Mako’s for my kid. He’s been using them for 3 years now. Can not find his current size. Aside from VH, does anyone have advice on another skate that would be comparable, I use the term comparable lightly. Basicaly if you couldn’t have your Mako’s or VH, what would be the next best option for a Mako enthusiast?

Just going to flat out ask this... is it worth it to purchase one of these as it stands or should I wait until some kinks have been worked out in future generations? Reviews seem to be a mixed bag. Their online forum has a few people presenting some concerning issues.

Can any of you fella's tell me why my brand new M7's are "clicking" when I'm walking? I've tried tightening the steel and it still happens. They also squeak like hell. Also, what's the difference between an M7 and an M8? Significant differences?

If I live in the North East US, where can I go to visit a BASE location? There used to be 4 or so, now there is none. No, I'm not driving to Toronto.

Why are there no locations in North East (US) anymore? Looks like the only 3 options are in Ontario and Montreal.
