If there is a player in the NHL using this technology, there is definitely something there. Kronwall isn't trying something out during NHL games. No one is fucking around during an NHL game. As far as I can tell STX still hasn't even gotten their "PureGrip" shaft to the NHL. I would definitely say that seeing #55 wear them took me from being a doubter to someone who would experiment with it for sure if it was affordable for me.

This actually has me even more convinced that the LK does not mean low kick. So many of these ST team sticks have the code like this for example "M - P19 85 T LK". Well if M truely means mid kick, then LK must mean something else. These sticks, mine at least, kicks mid-high, like a traditional ST 2.0.

How "low kick" is the CCM pro stock "LK" profile on Super Tacks 2.0 sticks specifically? I just got one and I was worried because I really like the ST 2.0 flex profile. But it is soft up top and flexing just like I am used to. I ended up buying the stick because I read several comments fron other people who like mid kick sticks still enjoying the "LK" sticks. When I flex this stick next to my other 2.0s, I can not visibly notice a difference. So what is the difference here?

I wear shins and elbows. With loose pants and a jacket, no one can tell. Not that I care. I've played enough sports and worked enough hard jobs. I've felt all of the pain a dude needs to feel to know he's tough lol.

I have a P20 Pro3. It is most definitely a 7 lie. It is identical to my P02. I didn't cut mine down at all and this stick has so much kick. I hit the cross bar from center ice when I was messing around after I bought it. It is such a rocket launcher I have never ripped an in game clapper with it because I don't want anyone to get hurt.

I just got a new pro stock CCM stick with the same weave on it that I have noticed Ovechkin has. It is the weird kind of criss cross pattern. What kind of wesve is this? 18k? 3k? Is it just cosmetic or does it make a difference?

I started playing the game again a few years ago and (very luckily) had the financial ability to buy several different curve types and stick options. I recently got my first ST2.0 and have been selling all of my other sticks to buy up more. The kick on these sticks is so powerful. I have also been wondering about comparisons to the AS1 as I have slowly become a big fan of the P19 and there are a few available at my LHS with the P19 (pro stock) curve.

R/hockeyplayers is a great spot in it's own right.

I would much much much rather the MSH have more long term reviews than see it devolve into just another forun because JR started running his mouth and blew up relationships he has built. If you want to see the beans spilled all you have to do is look around the internet a little bit.

Last year there was a list on another forum of all the major stick and skate release date for 2018. Does anyone here have access to a similar list and are the allowed to share it?

Ovi must be chosing Trigger ASY graphics based on preference because he has a CCM custom version of a G3 if I am learning my hockey gear facts right.

Ha! I was actually thinking about starting a thread about the Pro3. At drop in yesterday 5 of us in the room had a Pro3. We got to talking about it and decided it is hands down the best $150 stick ever made. Now that may just be us being excited about out sticks, but the point is its a great stick. I only use mine when my back is sore. I didn't cut the extra length off. I usually prefer a mid kick. But I really love shooting with the Pro3 more than any low kick stick I have ever used. I can still really lay into the puck.
