Well in my case it was a d-bag that picked 69, and he split on the team without paying for the jersey or the team cost. I joined the team a few games in and that was the only jersey left. SO it technically wasn't by choice... and the only other thing close is the fact that i prefer yellow wax laces...

this is me playing, i'm in the middle... and (not by choice) i'm number 69.

Just got these from my buddy for $60.00. They are pro-return Chris Drury Supreme one90's. My buddy bought them from the Sabres store at HSBC arena for $75.00, he said they were too narrow for his foot and he wears Vapor XXX skates. I am coming off of Supreme 3000 (2001 model, just didn't want new skates) and these things feel great.
