  1. Last nights game was a microcosm of what this entire season has been all about. In my opinion, Hartnell, Gagne and Briere are all disposable because none of them play with any sort of heart. Its crazy to think that with the money spent on them we could have 5 solid forwards for them.
  2. I think were going to be in some trouble. Honestly, I saw this coming a mile away. Granted Leighton has been playing great, I was never sold on Boucher as our back up and thank the lord for Leighton because he saved out season. I think it was a mistake letting both Biron and Niitty walk. The real problem occurred when Homer decided to give some of these idiots big contracts with no trade clauses. I can't wrap my head around the thought of not bringing in a solid goalie over the past summer. How can you not go out and at least make an offer for one of the free agents out there?!? It is mind blowing. Roman Cechmanke, Brian Boucher, Neil Little, Garth Snow, Robert Esche, Marty Biron, Antero Niittymaki, Sean Burke, Jeff Hackett, John Vanbiesbrouck..... Look at this list and tell me who is a proven number 1? Not one in my opinion. We haven't had a serious starter since Hextall. This needs to stop.
  3. I think you could have seen Nodl play his last game in a Flyers uniform. Let the rumor mill begin to swirl because something needs to happen. Jeff Carter just skates around the ice with absolutely no purpose and I think Homer is getting upset with him. I think you could see either Hartnell or Carter go paired possibly with a guy like Nodl who just has no touch around the net even after the Flyers have been harping on him all summer long. It is a shame to see a team with so much talent waste it all. There was a rumor that Carter was nailing Hartnell's wife and I know for a fact that this is completely NOT TRUE. Evidently Hartnell and Briere are both in the middle of getting divorced and I have to think that this could be taking a toll on them both mentally and physically. It is time for a change though, the Flyers cannot afford to keep dropping if they want to find themselves in the playoff hunt. We could use a veteran scorer up front. Who knows what will happen.
  4. John Grahame signed today by the Flyers and placed in Adirondack with the Phantoms.
  5. Has anyone seen a nice pair of custom X:60's yet? I'd be interested what these skates look with custom options.
  6. Myself, terrible picture. Play for Penn State ACHA D1 team. If you could not tell, since we are a HUGE Nike school, everything of mine is Nike, except for my skates and Harrow twig, but now I'm using a One95 with my own glorious pattern.
  7. Its a skate and were asking for sketches? Please when it is time to see them, I am sure we will see them. How desperate could you be to see a pair of hockey skates that customers will most likely buy for their kids or for themselves and then worry about what pair is coming out next. Patience is a virtue.
  8. Saw someone mention this before but the Trilage triangular hockey stick. That was a big gimmick that never really hit but if I'm not mistaken, don't they still make one pieces?
  9. Funny how they are hyping this new runner up but you see Joe Thorton with some Tuuk+'s on his U+'s....I like the style of the boot though, hopefully the width will be alright for me.
  10. Opening faceoff for some high school senior tournament hosted by Durham Hockey Institute which is headed up by Keith Primeau. I'm on the right (most of you could have probably guess with my skates, which I just bought and I have not had time yet to put tuuk's on yet). I have no idea who the other kid is but Keith is absolutly gigantic and Jim Dowd (Philadelphia Flyers) is absolutly the nicest guy around. Uniform is looking like a complete gongshow because they have us socks and jerseys and told us to wear our high school pants, gloves and helmets. I just so happen to wear all black gloves me my high school team and our colors are navy blue and red. I look like I mess. Go ahead and say it.
  11. If your talkin about the greater pittsburgh region NA, I don't think that is. Actually it is, those pictures are from the State Championship game.
  12. Kid was one of the funniest kids to play with. No not the prettiest of strides his feet would move four times before his body went anywhere.
  13. His name was Ryan McCarthy, short little guy but a spark plug of a player, great wheels. Yeah here high school is not very good but its fun to play, I wish high school here was as highly respected.
  14. Yeah that is my highschool league. I would much rather play all high school games because we draw such large crowds then my jungle b team does. Even though the juniors is a much more highly skilled and competitive style of play, high school is a lot more fun. By the way is that your high school team? Because I had a friend who played on my junior team two years ago who i believe lived in burnsville and played for apple valley or something I think.
  15. Since my pictures got deleted when the site went down I figure i'd throw them back up incase some didn't see. I dont think these are great pictures but they'll do. In advance, thanks for lookin!
